Planning Permission Achieved!

On 14th December 2022, members of the Ham Close Resident Engagement Panel, Ham Close Residents Association, and Ham Youth Centre spoke in favour of the Ham Close Regeneration application at Richmond’s Planning Committee meeting.

That night the Committee gave Ham Close its unanimous approval.

Over the subsequent three months, the approval was referred and supported by The Greater London Authority and a s106 Agreement was agreed and signed. This has resulted in the Planning Decision Notice being issued by London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 22nd March 2023. More details on the Planning Decision Notice can be found here.

With RHP’s Development Partner Hill targeting a construction start on site for phase 1 by October 2023, RHP will now be able to provide its customers with a lot more clarity on how and when they can benefit from a new home at Ham Close. A newsletter will be coming out in May with lots more detail.

Ham Close Regeneration Update

In July, notices began to be served to persons with a presumed legal interest in property that may be affected by the proposed development. The purpose of this is to gather up-to-date information about properties and occupiers within Ham Close to ensure that all interests are understood and can be taken into account. Those persons were legally required to complete the enclosed Request for Information questionnaire. For those persons needing any assistance in completing the questionnaire, contact information was provided.
